Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: June 2, 2025

At Touchgrasss, we are dedicated to creating enriching, inclusive, and safe experiences that encourage connection, well-being, and community building. These Terms and Conditions outline the expectations, responsibilities, rights, and obligations of anyone who participates in, purchases a ticket for, or interacts with any Touchgrasss event or service. By engaging with Touchgrasss in any capacity, whether as an attendee, member, volunteer, or partner, you acknowledge that you have thoroughly read, understood, and agreed to the following terms. These policies exist to ensure clarity, fairness, and a consistent standard of excellence across all our experiences.

Participant Conduct and Behavioral Expectations

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety, enjoyment, and comfort of everyone present. Attendees agree to follow all verbal and written instructions provided by Touchgrasss staff, volunteers, and venue partners.

Participants are required to behave respectfully toward all individuals attending or working the event, including guests, staff, vendors, property owners, and team members. Disruptive, unsafe, aggressive, discriminatory, harassing, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. Touchgrasss reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any participant who fails to comply with behavioral expectations. Removal from an event due to misconduct does not qualify for a refund, compensation, or credit.

Participants acknowledge that Touchgrasss hosts events designed to foster community and belonging and agree to protect this environment by treating others with kindness, patience, and consideration.

Age Requirements and Identification (23 and Older Policy)

Touchgrasss events are intentionally curated for a mature adult audience. Unless otherwise stated, all standard Touchgrasss events require participants to be 23 years of age or older. This age requirement supports the intentional, respectful, and community-focused atmosphere we aim to create at every gathering.

Some events may include additional or alternative age restrictions, such as 21 and older for experiences where alcohol is served or specific criteria based on venue or partner regulations. Event listings will clearly indicate when additional age requirements apply.

Attendees are responsible for bringing a valid government issued ID to verify their age when required. Touchgrasss and its venue partners reserve the right to deny entry if proper identification is not presented, appears invalid, or does not meet event requirements. Entry refusal based on age or failure to provide ID does not qualify for a refund, ticket transfer, or credit.

Ticket Sales, Pricing, and Payment Policies

All tickets sold for Touchgrasss events, whether through our website, Eventbrite, Posh, or any approved third party platform, are final sale. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not eligible for credit unless Touchgrasss cancels the event entirely.

Touchgrasss is not responsible for lost, unused, mis-purchased, or incorrectly selected tickets, nor for inability to attend due to scheduling conflicts, travel issues, illness, or personal circumstances.

Ticket prices are subject to change at any time and may increase as event dates approach due to rising demand, operational needs, capacity limitations, or partner involvement. Purchasing early is strongly encouraged to secure the best rate available. Any shift in pricing after purchase does not entitle the participant to a partial refund or price adjustment.

Touchgrasss reserves the right to offer special promotions, early bird pricing, and premium tiers, all of which may vary by event.

Event Changes, Modifications, or Cancellations

Touchgrasss reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to an event to ensure safety, quality, and operational success. These adjustments may include, but are not limited to:

• Venue changes
• Scheduling modifications
• Adjustments due to weather or safety considerations
• Vendor or partner availability changes
• Shifts in capacity, check in procedures, or amenities

These types of modifications do not qualify participants for refunds.

In the rare case that Touchgrasss cancels an event in full, participants will be notified and issued a refund or credit option. Refunds are issued only when Touchgrasss is directly responsible for a full cancellation. Dissatisfaction with turnout, programming style, or personal schedule conflicts does not qualify for reimbursement.

Photography, Videography, and Content Usage

By attending a Touchgrasss event, participants acknowledge that photos, videos, and audio recordings may be taken for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

Participants grant Touchgrasss full permission to use their likeness across:

• Social media channels
• Website content
• Marketing materials
• Digital and print advertising
• Event recaps and highlight reels

If a participant prefers not to be photographed or recorded, they must inform a Touchgrasss staff member prior to participation. While we will make all reasonable efforts to honor this request, complete omission from group or environmental footage cannot be guaranteed.

Assumption of Risk and Health Responsibilities

Participation in physical, social, or outdoor activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, environmental exposure, emotional discomfort, and unforeseen accidents. By attending a Touchgrasss event, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Attendees are responsible for monitoring their own well-being, understanding their physical limits, and discontinuing participation if they feel unwell, unsafe, or unable to continue. Touchgrasss encourages all guests to stay hydrated, prepare appropriately for outdoor conditions, and seek medical attention when needed.

Touchgrasss is not responsible for medical emergencies, injuries, allergic reactions, or health conditions that arise before, during, or after event participation.

Release of Liability

By attending a Touchgrasss event, participants agree to release and hold harmless Touchgrasss, its founders, team members, volunteers, collaborators, partners, and associated venues from any claims, damages, or liabilities related to participation. This includes but is not limited to:

• Physical injury
• Personal property loss
• Transportation delays or cancellations
• Weather related issues
• Emotional or social discomfort
• Misuse of equipment or facilities

This release applies to incidents arising from participant actions, third party actions, or conditions outside Touchgrasss’s control.

Personal Belongings and Lost Items

Touchgrasss is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to any event. Participants should keep valuables secured and in their possession at all times. Items left behind at venues are the responsibility of the attendee, and recovery is not guaranteed.

Community Standards and Inclusivity

Touchgrasss is committed to fostering an environment that is warm, inclusive, and respectful of all people. Attendees agree to engage with others in a way that honors diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences.

Harassment, discrimination, physical intimidation, or any conduct that harms the well-being of others will not be tolerated and may result in removal without refund.

Touchgrasss celebrates diversity and expects all participants to uphold the values of kindness, respect, and community.
